January 29th, 2008

We have been looking forward to this date for a long time. Unfortunately, Sam is not ready yet. I am not surprised. I have been predicting for months that the Patriots would be going for the perfect season in the Super Bowl and I won't be able to see it. The Pats did there part and Sam is looking to do his part. It's not his fault though, Laura was 2 weeks late and I was 6 days late. This kid is genetically engineered to take his time.

We have been trying all the home remedies to induce labor. We even went downtown this morning to Eric's LaPatisserie to get Laura a bagel with Labor inducing cream cheese.

The number one hit on google for "Labor inducing cream cheese" is 10 minutes down the road. We had to try it.

They say try the one thing that put him there in the first place.

...and just be happy knowing you won't go 15 days overdue like me!

It's the 2nd of February - will Sam see his shadow today?

He peeked out, saw his shadow, and now Laura has to go through six more weeks of pregnancy.

Hey, perfection takes time.

I heard that mac and cheese induces labor. It didn't work for me, but I'm passing it along.

Funny, we had mac & cheese for lunch yesterday. It didn't do the trick.
